Caring, responsive relationships

We build caring, responsive relationships between our educators, children, and families to create learning environments that foster a sense of belonging, provide rich opportunity for play, and cultivate each child’s competence, capacity, and potential.

Children learn through play, whether it is lively and exuberant or quiet and absorbing, we see the connection between children’s play – freely chosen, enjoyable, active, and guided by internal motivation rather than external goals – and the learning and social development that helps them to succeed in life.

Goals and Objectives

EARLY EDUCATION FDC is committed to providing quality programs that are consistent with our policies:

  • focusing on the four foundations of learning – well-being, engagement, belonging and expression
  • our programs promote physical, social, and emotional health, and foster communities of learners made up of our children, families, and educators.

With these priorities in mind, we have defined a set of goals and approaches, in compliance with NQS

A Partnership for The Future

We believe that parent involvement is essential to the provision of childcare, and that the partnership between parents and staff is important to the development of each child. Parents are encouraged to visit, participate in programs, and attend special events, parent workshops, and holiday celebrations. Parents are also encouraged to be involved in ways that reflect their interests and talents, such as sharing recipes, reading stories, or leading a day care activity.

Diversity and Inclusion

We recognize that each individual child has the right to a sense of belonging and an opportunity to participate and contribute to our enriched and diverse multicultural programs that everyone has a set of beliefs, strengths and own culture contributing to our diverse community

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) recognizes that ‘Partnerships … involve educators, families and support professionals working together to explore the learning potential in every day events, routines and play so that children with additional needs are provided with daily opportunities to learn from active participation and engagement in these experiences

Sustainability

Our service encourages the awareness of environmental responsibility and implement practices that contribute to a sustainable future. Children are supported to become environmentally responsible and show respect for the environment

What our principles mean to you?

These principles reflect our basic philosophy: A good program will acknowledge the uniqueness of each child. We offer children an environment in which they have the maximum potential to experience secure, stimulating, healthy and enjoyable opportunities for growth.
